Arqit hires senior cryptographic expert

London, UK - 12 April 2023 - Arqit Quantum Inc. (NASDAQ: ARQQ, ARQQW) (“Arqit”), a
leader in quantum-safe encryption, today announced that Roberta Faux has joined the
company as US Head of Cryptography and US Field Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Roberta has 12 years’ experience in signals intelligence and cryptanalytic research, working
for the National Security Agency and has served as a principal investigator in various fields
of cybersecurity. Roberta’s most recent role was as Director of Innovation and Strategic
Initiatives at Lorica Cybersecurity in Maryland.
